What is the International Coaches Union (ICU)?
ICU, stands for ‘I see YOU’, is a global professional association of coaches and trainers. Our name reflects our values: to see, accept, and respect every person as they are. With thousands of members across 32+ countries, we provide coaching education, certification, networking, and professional development opportunities worldwide.
Who is this program for?
For aspiring coaches, psychologists, practitioners, leaders, managers, HR professionals, and entrepreneurs who want to coach with confidence and impact.
How does the training work, and what can I expect?
The program is delivered both online through live, interactive sessions and in-person, depending on your group choice. Can’t make it live? No problem—recordings will be available to revisit or catch up.
To ensure deep learning, participants are expected to join at least 80% of live classes. You’ll also take part in small-group practice sessions to apply your skills right away. Additionally, you will get access to bonus pre-recorded lectures for extra learning at your own pace.
How will I get feedback on my progress?
To start with, you’ll gain a lot of hands-on experience by stepping into three roles—coach, observer, and client—during group practice sessions.
Moreover, you’ll have the chance to practice coaching directly with your trainer in class, receiving real-time feedback to sharpen your skills.
On top of that, regular group supervision sessions ensure you reflect on your progress, learn from others’ experiences, and continuously strengthen your coaching abilities.
When does the next program start?
Our next training program begins in October 2025. Groups are formed based on learner time preferences to ensure the best learning experience and balanced interaction.
